Israeli air attack in Damascus Trigger Big Bang
Residents of Damascus, Syria, was startled by a loud bang that sounded on Sunday (05/05/2013) morning.
According to the Israeli government television, the explosion came from the Syrian military research center targeted Israeli air strike.
Syrian state television reported that the Israeli attack on at 1:50 on Sunday morning, the research center is located in Jamraya.
"Everything is quiet and all of a sudden we saw a bright orange light in the sky s siblings that followed the explosion," said resident Damascus, Tarek Hillnawi, who was talking with her friend when the explosion occurred.
"I felt it was all over. Whole Damascus burning," he said.
Earlier, the Syrian news agency SANA reported, Israel was to attack the center of Damascus, but no human casualties reported in the attack.
Previously, Israel was also reportedly attacked a convoy allegedly transporting weapons to be sent to a group Hezbollah in Lebanon.
However, so far the Israeli government has not confirmed or denied that air strikes into Syrian territory.
